2010 ICAT Conference April 6 - 7, 2010 Globalization Emphasis Details & Highlights Coming Soon! |
This year we have a very special program for the Innovations Conference on Asphalt and Transportation (ICAT), centered on Sustainability. Secretary Milton Sees will be our keynote speaker and will hopefully be able to share details on the new capital plan for the State of Illinois. We have also arranged for two international speakers to come and share their experiences with us. Mr. Haytham Haidar, Chief Operating Officer of International Capital Trading, UAE will discuss doing business in the Gulf during this difficult economic climate. Dr. Khalad Nassar, who worked in Dubai, Sharjah, and the USA will be visiting us from the American University in Cairo to speak on highway projects in the Middle East.
We have more exhibitors participating this year (17 to date) and have expanded the area for demonstration displays and booths to an outdoor tent. We also anticipate a great turnout for the number of attendees able to participate in the conference, with preliminary estimates totaling over 300.
